I do not use salt because it is very washable and active for a long time. I prefer white vinegar .
Same proportion of water and white vinegar, sprayed on the leaves. Sometimes two passages are necessary, it depends on the type of plant. Be careful though, vinegar (8% of acetic acid , the active part of vinegar) also destroys microorganisms. However, some use pure white vinegar. This is not an obligation, especially since the vinegar acidifies the soil. Might as well go slowly. On the other hand, it is advisable to spray in full sun for better efficiency. A little black soap or whole milk in the water-vinegar mixture serves as a wetting agent, this is to further anchor the spray to the foliage.
