The trend is towards 70s-inspired weaves and macramé. That's good, they are a great decorative alternative to hide an embarrassing vis-à-vis. We fall for a ready-made weave (like this model spotted on Etsy) or we compose our own hanging from one or more shades of wool. To do this, equip yourself with a wooden pin a little longer than the width of your window (+ 20 cm). Cut woolen threads of 1.50 m each (or more depending on the height of the windows). Double each thread then tie them like a lark on the trunnion until it is completely covered (keep 5 cm on each side of the trunnion). Using a needle, pass a long wool thread under the dowel, through the wool loops, then remove the dowel. Tighten each loop of the hanging on the main thread. The weaving is ready. Cut its ends with scissors to give it its pointed shape. All that remains is to attach it to either side of the window.

Think of flexible hanging partitions, very practical to hide the vis-à-vis when space is scarce. Hooks to attach to the ceiling, P.V.C. tiles to associate like a puzzle... And it's a rolling business! The icing on the cake, these tiles are customizable at will:printing from a photo, arty illustration, geometric print... The possibilities are endless to adapt to all interior styles.
Flexible tile partition, Ixxi, from €24.90 per 60 x 40 cm panel.
Generally reserved for balconies and terraces, the rolls of canisses bring a nice summer look to our window, for almost nothing! We choose it of good height (1.50 m), to cultivate intimacy without blocking the view, even if it means adjusting it afterwards with a pair of scissors. And we fix it to the base of the railing, on either side of the window, with a little metal wire. Result:a simple and natural partition made in no time at all!
Bamboo reed, H 150 x W 300 cm, €15.90, Castorama.
