Lovers of the emblematic end-of-year celebrations seem to be taking more and more freedom with regard to decoration traditions. It started on Halloween, where many aficionados, already in 2016, opted for ornate black and orange trees and swapped pumpkins for pineapples with monstrous faces. And the interest in the exotic fruit does not seem to be about to stop:this year it acts as a Christmas tree with, as for the original tree, balls hanging from its branches and garlands wrapped around its central part. .
The trend, which (obviously) emerged on Instagram, is illustrated by very sober models with balls in autumnal colors in keeping with the ocher hue of the pineapple, and others more loaded and slightly more kitsch, with garlands multicolored lights and tiny gifts at the foot of the fruit. So what advantages does this little fantasy have? The “pineapple tree” is economical, brings a little warmth in the middle of winter and is recyclable (guess who will be happy to taste it once the holidays are over?).
