A couple turns a dumpster into a cute house

Images of minibuses or vans transformed into little love nests are common on the Net. Tastefully decorated and refurbished to optimize space, these nomadic houses are the dream of all travel enthusiasts. But we found even stronger:an American couple built a house… in a huge garbage container! Jamie and Brad Bigelow dreamed of living in the desert, and it was in Florence, Arizona, that they put their suitcases in their very special house:16 square meters large, the space includes two beds, a stove wood, and the toilets are outside.

A very cozy place

The giant dumpster was bought by the couple for $800 (€750), and it was Brad Bigelow (he's a real estate entrepreneur) and his brothers and nephews who took care of the incredible transformation , reports the site Today . The most difficult step was to drill the structure to create the door and window openings, but once the work was over, the two lovers were able to make their home ultra warm. Beams, parquet, wooden walls and a large terrace, the result is ultra cozy. The entire job cost $13,000 (€12,200)… It's worth it!

Well, we advise however not to be too scared at night, because finding yourself in the middle of nowhere can be a real ordeal (especially for those who have already seen The Hill Has Eyes> ). But the "cottage" still amazed Internet users, who would not have guessed the nature of the initial object, the trash container. Congratulations to this couple for this impressive renovation!
