I love decorating. Also on good dining. And crazy about change, not to forget. I can have fun in our new house, you see. One of the challenges I take on in this house is that I want it to be nice and cozy, but also a little tidy. I don't need a sleek and clean house, which is an impossible task for us with the children and pets, but I would like a decor that is easy to keep in order. Hence my doubt about whether or not a coffee table with drawers. Very handy of course, if only for the remote control and some coasters, but I also like 'open and light' and a coffee table with drawers often does not meet that description. In addition, I also have to take into account the layout of the living room, that part is a bit long and narrow.

We now have a glass coffee table ourselves and I still like it. Such a glass table with black metal. Next to it is a small wooden stool, also nice! You can't say much on it, but it is enough for our family and otherwise I will -temporarily- add another table. I have a stool fetish, so there is no shortage of stools. The challenge is mainly in that little stuff lying around, such as the remote control(s). A coffee table with drawers would be very useful for that, but I often find them so clumsy.
That is why I took a look on Pinterest for the different types of coffee tables with drawers and guess what… there are also nice 'light' models available. I'll show you a few here that I find very beautiful myself.
We like a bit of industrial with a retro touch. In the latter category, I think the above coffee table fits very nicely. It has a drawer on different sides, but because it stands a bit high on its legs and consists of different heights, I think it looks very nice.
The different heights may have the disadvantage that it is not so easy to store larger bowls or the like.
The coffee table above fits completely into our interior. The black powder-coated metal looks industrial and the wood gives the natural touch. I also like the fact that the coffee table is somewhat rounded.
We have quite a few sleek shapes at home and I think this round coffee table with drawers gives a more cozy look. In addition, you can't hit it that easily. Saves a lot of bruises!
I also really like this coffee table, it only has one drawer, but that should be enough in principle. I didn't find these (and even more beautiful coffee tables) on Pinterest, by the way, but in a webshop while browsing the internet. By the way, this webshop also had those beautiful round coffee tables, but unfortunately there were no drawers in them. The only drawback of this table is that a lot of dust and cat hair and the like will collect in the open compartments, I think.
I actually think the coffee table above is the most beautiful of all, but this one has no drawers at all. I like the robust (I have also found a TV cabinet) combined with the steel legs. Only a set of books on the floor doesn't seem like such a success to me 😉 .
Which coffee table do you like best, or are none of them your taste?
