Do you have a photo wall at home? Or are you thinking about making the perfect gallery wall? Then it is nice to think that you can adapt a photo wall very nicely to the seasons. Or a theme for example. I'll just call it Christmas. How cool is it to adapt your existing photo wall to a Christmas atmosphere? Or, for example, to make a summer photo wall when the weather is nice again? You can change the atmosphere of your entire living room with this! I will show you some examples of how to adjust your photo wall in a certain atmosphere.

The best part is that it is not much work at all. You just need to make sure you have some extra posters in the right sizes. You can of course order these online, but you can also make some posters yourself by hand lettering, for example. Even if you only include one homemade poster, that's fun! If you have a Cricut at home, you can also get started with it.
Are you not that creative yourself? Then you just buy nice suitable posters or cards (depending on the size of your photo wall) for the season or theme in which you want to make your photo wall.
Hint: keep the posters you take out in his large flat storage box at IKEA. The posters that you may now buy new can also be put back in there later. This way you create a beautiful collection with photos, posters and cards to change the photo wall every time. Cool right?
Another advantage of modifying your existing photo wall is that you don't have to keep hammering new nails into the wall or drilling holes. You only have to work with the tools once and then you can change the atmosphere endlessly. I say:ideal!
With a Christmas photo wall, think of everything that fits the Christmas theme. For example, use the colors green, gold and red. But also think of a beautiful deer on your photo wall or a shiny Christmas bauble on a poster. For example, I found this deer poster at Photowall, where you can find all kinds of posters in various themes. You can make it a super cool whole and adjust your photo wall to a theme, but still keep it modest! If you want to go completely Christmassy, a deer skull on the wall is absolutely beautiful.
If you don't have a deer skull, you can also get started with washi tape yourself to make the above. I did it myself years ago and you can read how to do it in this article about crafts for Christmas.
Hint: If you put up a Christmas tree and you have very different colored balls than the colors above, it might be nice to adjust the colors of your photo wall here as well.
Are you in a 'green' mood? I can totally imagine that! An excellent moment to adjust your photo wall and give it a jungle touch. Deliciously fresh!
By the time spring starts or summer is approaching, we often need fresh shades or 'light'. If you give your photo wall a Scandinavian touch, you can adapt this summer to the feeling that is alive at this time of the year. Tasty, light and full of inspiring texts.
And just to show you that you can get a completely different atmosphere in your home from the same setup, here's an example of the 'Easter' theme. The same photo wall as above but modified with a bit of yellow, a text and a cute bunny. Ready in no time!
