1. Take a hanger, of the type intended to "pinch" clothes, with a central bar and a clip at each end, like these.
2. Wrap your cable around the hanger.
3. Block the cable with the clamps to prevent it from falling.
There you go, your cables are now tidy :-)
The hanger clips will keep the cable from falling off once you wrap it around the center bar. You can remove the hook for even more convenience.
By storing your cables as shown here, you won't have to search around the house for them anymore. So you will save a lot of time.
