I love hosting a baking afternoon with the kids.
But for sure, we won't avoid an egg stain on the little ones' clothes!
So I got into the habit of cleaning their clothes immediately to prevent the stain from setting in.
Luckily, there's a secret trick to quickly removing an egg stain. That thing is white vinegar.
1. Using the blade of a knife, gently scrape the egg yolk stain to remove as much of it as possible, working from the outside of the stain to the inside.
2. Clean the stain with cold water and Marseille soap.
3. Rinse.
4. Take a bowl filled with water.
5. Pour five tablespoons of white vinegar into it.
6. Dip a clean sponge in it.
7. Rub the stain gently.
8. Rinse.
Lo and behold, the egg yolk stain completely disappeared in 1 minute :-)
The little extra thing? White vinegar has the advantage of removing the egg smell.
And if you want to dry the garment faster, use a hair dryer!
