Did you just get a big stain on your white cotton shirt?
Wine, fruit, tomato or herb stains...
They don't have a reputation for being easy to remove, especially on white.
Fortunately, there is a well-known product from our grandmothers.
It is super effective in removing white cotton laundry.
This magic product is sodium percarbonate. Watch:
- 2 tablespoons of sodium percarbonate.
- 3 liters of water heated to 40°.
- 1 basin.
1. Heat the water to 40°.
2. Put it in a basin.
3. Pour two tablespoons of sodium percarbonate.
4. Mix well.
5. Soak your stained laundry in this mixture.
6. Leave on for two hours.
7. Machine wash normally.
And There you go ! You untied your white cotton shirt :-)
To increase its effectiveness, percarbonate can be mixed with Marseille soap.
It also works to bring back the whiteness of dull white laundry.
Percarbonate is very effective on white cotton fabrics, old white lace or old fabrics.
On the other hand, it is not suitable for fragile fabrics such as silk or cashmere.
Store the percarbonate in a dry place away from a heat source.
