Did you buy a dusty painting from an antique store?
Do you want to restore it before hanging it on the wall?
Here is a trick to easily clean a dirty oil painting.
Just run half a bagel over it to remove the built up gunk :
1. Take a bagel and cut it in half with a knife.
2. Gently rub the crumb side over the paint. Don't press too hard. The bread will absorb all the dust and dirt like a sponge.
3. The dirt is now gone, but there are surely crumbs clinging to the canvas. To remove them, simply use a clean bristle brush.
And there you go, your board is all clean :-). You can proudly hang it on the wall.
Know that this trick also works with any other white bread that has a lot of crumb.
