Not easy to disinfect a mattress!
And yet, it is essential to do it from time to time.
Did you know that we sweat the equivalent of 250 ml of water every night? Yuck...
Not to mention viruses, such as Covid-19, which become embedded!
Or dust mites swarming in the bedding...
Fortunately, there is a simple and effective trick to thoroughly clean and disinfect a mattress naturally.
The easy trick is to make a disinfectant spray with rubbing alcohol . Watch:
- 1 glass of household alcohol
- 3 glasses of water
- 10 drops of disinfectant essential oil of your choice:tea tree, lemon, cinnamon, ravintsara, sweet orange, eucalyptus, lemongrass
- empty spray
- microfiber cloths
1. Pour the water into the empty spray.
2. Add rubbing alcohol.
3. Put the essential oil.
4. Close the spray and shake to mix well.
5. Generously spray your disinfectant spray on the mattress.
6. Dampen a clean cloth and wipe it over the mattress.
7. Pass a dry cloth to remove as much moisture as possible.
8. Let air dry all day before putting the sheets back on.
There you go, thanks to your homemade cleaner, your mattress is now cleaned and disinfected :-)
