Ingredients: 1 glass of vinegar and 1/2 glass of baking soda
This homemade cleaner recipe works for cleaning all types of hardwood floors.
Start by mixing the baking soda with the white vinegar in a container. Watch out, it foams! Then add 5 tablespoons of water.
Dampen the mop with this mixture. Remember that the mop should be just damp . It must not be soaked so as not to damage the parquet.
Then mop the floor. Insist lightly on the traces to make them disappear. Now all you have to do is wait for it to dry!
Obviously, you can adapt the quantities of product according to your needs.
Ingredient: 1 capful of black soap
This recipe works for all waxed, oiled or floating (laminate) floors.
Pour 1 liter of water into a bucket. Add 1 capful of liquid black soap to the water.
Dampen your mop or microfiber broom.
Be careful not to soak it too much with water! If you wet your floor too much, you risk causing it to warp.
Now all you need to do is mop the floor and let it dry.
Ingredients: 1 capful of black soap and 1/2 capful of white vinegar
This recipe works particularly well for cleaning varnished and vitrified floors.
To make this homemade cleaner, first pour 1 liter of water into a bucket.
Then add the cap of black soap and then the 1/2 cap of vinegar.
As with waxed, oiled or floating floors, dampen your mop (but not too much) and run it over the floor.
Now all you have to do is wait for it to dry.
There you go, you now know how to clean any type of parquet naturally :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, right?
And for each type of parquet, its own homemade product!
Your parquet will be super clean and shiny, whether it is wooden, laminate or floating, waxed or oiled, varnished, vitrified or even new or old.
You may have read or heard that to maintain your parquet, you have to mix wax in water.
Whether the wax is melted in oil or not, this cleaning method should absolutely be avoided.
Be aware that wax does not dissolve in water. On the contrary, it solidifies and mixing is impossible.
Not to mention that the containers used are covered with wax. Good luck cleaning up all that grease afterwards, even with liters of boiling water!
