1. White vinegar

This trick to remove a carrot puree stain works on most clothes.

White vinegar is an excellent stain remover, easy to use and economical.

Remove the bulk of the stain with a knife, then dampen a clean cloth with white vinegar. Dab it on the stain.

Do not rub because you risk spreading the stain. Then put the garment in the machine and run the usual program.

2. 70% alcohol

You can also use 70° alcohol instead of vinegar. It is particularly recommended, especially on synthetic clothing. Mix in a container 2 tablespoons of water with 2 tablespoons of alcohol at 70°.

To remove the carrot stain, wet a clean cloth with 70° alcohol. Dab gently to avoid spreading it. Then wash your garment as usual.

You can also use this trick to clean a carrot stain from a carpet.

After dabbing the stain with 70° alcohol, simply rinse it with a damp sponge. Do a test on a very small corner of the carpet before washing the stain completely.

3. Lemon juice

For light colored clothes and fabrics, especially light cotton, it is better to use lemon.

This is the perfect remedy for carrot stains on light-coloured laundry.

For this, moisten the stain with a few drops of pure lemon.

Pat it with a clean cloth to make the lemon penetrate well into the fibers of the cloth. Then machine wash your clothes as usual.
