No need to spend the afternoon scrubbing with expensive chemicals.
My grandmother had a great trick to clean and shine the tiles easily.
I nicked it and it works great for me.
The trick is to use black soap so that it shines like new. Watch:
1. Pour into a bucket 5 liters of hot water.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of black soap.
3. Mop the floor as usual.
4. You don't even need to rinse, just let it dry.
There you go, your tiles are all clean and shine with a thousand lights :-)

The only difference is to wring the mop well before cleaning it, because wooden floors don't like water.
All you have to do is pass a clean, dry cloth over it so that it, too, starts to shine.
