When I do housework, there is always something I forget to clean:lampshades.
Dust is gathering and my lampshades look like antiques. And when I want to remove it with a rag, it leaves big black marks.
It's horrible. I tried with the vacuum cleaner and it's not better (except, I admit, if you have a blower position).
Fortunately, my grandmother, who can't stand dust, told me her secret to easy cleaning of lampshades:a hair dryer!
1. Plug in your hair dryer.
2. Choose the "cold" position.
3. Light it by pointing it at the lampshade.
4. Go back and forth from left to right.
5. So turn all around the lampshade.
There you go, all the dust from your lampshades has gone away :-)
Simple, practical and effective! Easy to wash a lampshade without spending hours on it, isn't it?
You will find lampshades as clean as if they were new.
This trick works for cleaning all kinds of lamp shades:fabric shades of course, but also silk shades, cardboard, parchment, paper or even glass shades. days in pig's bladder, mother-of-pearl or even brass.
They will become clean as on the first day. Even the white lampshades are nickel! no more stains, no more dust, no more dirt!
