Contents
The clay stone (or white stone) allows you todeeply clean smooth surfaces (tap, mirror, tiles, etc.), but also to make them shine without leaving any trace .
Nothing resists its passage, it is capable of degreasing r all dirty surfaces, to deoxidize metals such as silver and aluminum or pickling gently the burners and ceramic hobs.
When you buy a clay stone commercially, it is very often presented in a round box similar to the packaging of body creams.
So to use it, just wet a sponge with a little cold water and rub it gently against the clay stone.
Now all you have to do is clean your dirty surface and then wipe with a soft, dry cloth so that it shines again with a thousand lights.
The clay stone is truly safe for the skin, as it is made of only 100% natural products .
It is therefore very easy to make it yourself for this. Here is the recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 cup of powdered white clay
- 1/2 cup of Marseille soap
- 20 drops of lemon or eucalyptus essential oils
How to
1. Start by finely grating your Marseille soap.
2. Pour it into boiling water.
3. Next, mix the white clay and the liquid Marseille soap.
4. Add the essential oils of your choice.
5. Mix everything.
6. Pour your preparation into a box with a lid.
7. Leave to air dry until the stone hardens (1 week wait on average).
8. Once this time has elapsed, screw on the lid.
There you go, your homemade clay stone is finally ready to use!
If you prefer to buy directly a ready-to-use clay stone, you will find it in DIY stores , organic stores or even here on the net.
However, I advise you to try at least once to make one yourself, it's fun and economical!
