Tap water tastes bad?
It's true that it's not very pleasant...
But no need to buy bottled water! Mineral water is expensive, around €0.90 per liter.
In addition, the water packs are heavy, very heavy to carry. And plastic bottles generate a lot of waste.
Luckily, with a simple water filter you get rid of the chemicals found in tap water.
No more chlorine or sometimes even lime aftertaste!
Are you hesitant to filter tap water? However, a simple filter can save a lot of money in the long run! Watch:

It is a rather complex system, to be installed under your sink. The water passes through several filters, which remove 100% of the dissolved substances. The reverse osmosis filter therefore eliminates both good and bad substances. And, given its initial cost, it is more difficult to recoup.
The over-the-sink filter is easy to use. It is easy to install, and the cartridge is changed approximately every three months. It is amortized faster than the reverse osmosis filter, but does not filter the limestone.
The filter jug retains chlorine, limestone, pesticides and heavy metals. Its depreciation is of the same order as the ring filter and the cartridge is also changed approximately every 3 months.
Your water comes back to you the first year with this trick at €0.06 per liter the first year then €0.05 per liter the following years.
You must of course add the price of a liter of tap water, which differs from one region to another.
You will find them in any DIY store or on the Internet like these filter jugs with their spare cartridges.
After installation, all that remains is to activate the electronic system which lets you know when to renew the cartridge.
Don't doubt it:tap water is drinkable. The chlorine that is present in it serves to kill bacteria .
But sometimes its taste is not great, and mineral water bottles are heavy, expensive and pollute.
I, personally, would not invest in the reverse osmosis filter. But if you want to remove any chlorine, any limestone, any substance present in the water, this filter will cost you between €200 and €1,500 installation included, then €50 per year.
The choice, for me, is therefore then between the ring filter and the filter jug, which have the same damping.
I like the carafe system, it allows you to have a carafe ready to put on the table (no need to buy another one) and its cartridges are useful to me, who lives in a >limestone region , which is not necessarily your case.
The ring filter does not remove limescale. But if you live in a region with very little limestone, it may be interesting to choose it, because in addition it reduces the flow from the tap, thus allowing you to spend less water .
