Plant the seeds in 5cm deep furrows spaced about 30cm apart.
Water regularly and remove less beautiful leaves to thin out.
Another popular salad that grows perfectly in the fall.
This is the season that arugula prefers , because she hates the heat.
Plant it from September to October, in a furrow 1 cm deep. Water and thin often.
After 20 days, you will be able to pick the first rocket leaves.
If you are a Sunday gardener, Chinese cabbage is for you!
Why ? Because it is very easy to maintain .
He hates the sun and high heat.
Autumn is therefore the perfect season for him!
You can sow it or transplant it directly to the vegetable garden if you buy pre-propagated feet from the garden center.
And with that, you have vegetables for the whole winter, especially if you live in a temperate region.
The other alternative is to protect it in a greenhouse or with a wintering veil.
Because watercress hates the sun and heat, it is particularly suitable for fall.
It loves moist soil, so remember to water it regularly.

If the late fall is mild in your area, sow root vegetables like rutabaga.
You can harvest it about 3 months later:in the middle of winter.

You can mulch the soil if needed.
Like the rutabaga, the carrot is a root vegetable that tolerates staying in the ground when it's cooler.
There is even a late variety that can be sown in October :the rotild.
It is harvested at the end of winter.
Mulch the soil if necessary, or put a small protective tunnel in areas with harsh winters.
The garlic that accompanies all our dishes is generally sown in the fall .
Especially white and purple garlic.
Whether in pots or in the ground, garlic bulbs are planted in small furrows spaced about 30 cm apart.
Choose a corner of the garden where the sun is very present, even in winter.
Garlic hates water, so the soil should be well drained. Add a handful of sand if needed.
