11. Write down the name of the seeds planted with the indelible pen.
And There you go ! Your seeder with water reserve is ready :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, right?
Your seeds will grow quickly. Why?
Because the plastic bottle plays the role of a greenhouse and keeps the heat.
This facilitates the "lifting" of the seeds.
In addition, the soil will never be dry thanks to the string that soaks in the water reserve.
It allows the soil to be permanently moistened.
And all that for 0€! Brilliant, this little recycled DIY.
As soon as the plants are 6 to 10 cm tall and the season is right, you can transplant them into the ground.
You can plant all kinds of seeds, both flowers and vegetables:
Tomatoes, peppers, zucchini or squash.
But also carnation, daisy, nasturtium, marigold and sweet pea.
The plastic bottle serves as a pot for seedlings. But at the same time it acts as a mini-greenhouse to keep the seeds warm.
The water reserve - kept warm - irrigates the land above thanks to the string that soaks in it.
The seeds grow peacefully even in hot weather.
