His trick to having a very clean fishing rod is to clean it with baking soda . It's easy, watch:
1. Take a clean sponge.
2. Dampen it with lukewarm water.
3. Pour baking soda over it.
4. Clean the fishing rod with the bicarbonate sponge.
5. Rinse the rod thoroughly with clear water.
6. Dry the fishing rod well.
There you go, your fishing rod is now perfectly clean :-)

And it is a completely natural and super economical cleaning.
No more traces of groundbait, fish slime, scales and dirty water!
So your fishing rods don't get dirty and you can keep them in good condition for longer.
You can thus clean all the parts of your fishing rod:the reel, the fitting, the rings, the cork or the foam of the handle.
And this is valid for the maintenance of the different kinds of rods:match, spot, telescopic or predator.
But be careful not to get water into the fittings.
