We turn glass jars into wonderful hostess gifts. Frosted paint was used to create a design on the jars, then the jars were embellished with ribbons and green leaves.
Use painter's tape to create patterns, such as stripes, squares, or letters, on the glass jars.

In a well-ventilated area, spray the jars with the frosted spray paint and allow to dry. Apply a second coat of paint. Remove the painter's tape once the paint has dried.
Cut the ribbon to fit around the jars with enough to make a bow. Tape around the top of the jar. Attach a second ribbon and make a bow.
Cut the flowers, red berries and pine branches, and add them to the jars.

Add the clear marbles to the jars, then add water around the flower stems.
