The feature is very simple. Tell Google Home where you left something, and then when you ask about it, they'll remind you where you left it.
So, for example, when you put your spare keys in the top dresser drawer, just tell the Google home page:
Bien, Google, recuerda que puse mis llaves de repuesto en el cajón de la cómoda superior..
Then when you're looking for those keys and can't remember where you put them, just say:
Ok Google, ¿dónde están mis llaves de repuesto??
If you've gotten rid of those spare keys and no longer need that information saved by Google Home, just say:
Ok Google, olvida lo que te dije sobre mis llaves de repuesto.
In addition to telling Google to remember where you put things, you can use the feature any way you like. If you have an idea for a blog post that you don't want to forget, tell Google. (This is a particularly useful feature if an idea occurs to you while you're falling asleep.)
Since Google Home is an Internet-connected device, you may not want to ask it to remember any particularly sensitive information. To see the feature in action, check out the video below:
This feature is particularly useful for items you keep for long periods of time, rather than items you use on a daily basis. Otherwise, you'll find yourself constantly removing and updating these locations, and the only way to do that is by letting Google know.
