If I had to do it again, here are 2 house models that I would build!

Although today I am a happy owner, that does not prevent me from having a big dream:to have a new residence built with a very particular architectural style.

While waiting for my finances to allow me to realize my project, I invite you to discover the types of houses that make me want.

Make me build an architect's house in a contemporary style

The contemporary house is certainly the one that most reflects the work of architects. It is characterized by its original forms, which do not resemble any very specific style and which are not limited to being modeled on old constructions. Architectural freedom takes precedence. It takes into consideration the desires of the owner and the possibilities offered by the terrain and the technique.

The contemporary house is the materialization of the creativity and imagination of an architect. For my part, I would like above all a residence with a roof terrace where I could relax as soon as the warm weather arrives.

The advantage of this type of structure is that it does not take up a lot of space. Thus, if you have a fairly small plot, you can still enjoy an outdoor space where you can relax. Among my other requirements is the presence of glazed and transparent elements. There is nothing like it to enjoy maximum brightness. The use of glazing promotes energy savings thanks to natural light and the rays of the sun that penetrate into the different rooms.

In addition, it allows the habitat to give the impression of extending towards the landscape. The reasons that lead me to choose this type of contemporary construction do not stop there! The architect's house is a good way for me to benefit from a tailor-made building, adapting to my way of life, my needs and my desires in terms of space organization.

A wooden house as a second home, why not?

I also like wooden houses a lot. You may think that my choices are quite paradoxical, but that's all my personality, as my wife says!

Wood is a durable, ecological and noble material. It offers incomparable aesthetics and is conducive to energy savings. Did you know that in France 8 to 12% of individual homes are built with this material? Specialists estimate that this figure could increase in the next few years.

This enthusiasm is certainly due to the multiple advantages attributed to wood. Warm and robust, it can adapt to limestone, landlocked, poorly stabilized or steep terrain. In addition, wood guarantees a quality of daily life. It actually offers excellent inertia, while being a good hygrometric regulator without forgetting that it provides thermal insulation.

Above all, it offers excellent value for money. Builders are able to provide their customers with different models of wooden houses at competitive prices which can be delivered and assembled or available in kits. According to my research, a budget of 100,000 euros can be enough to build a house of 130 m2.
