Spring-flowering flower bulbs should be planted now, before the cold winter. But the ground must be well prepared, loose and fertilized.
Therefore, tillage will be done on 20 cm with compost fertilization. Plant tight enough to optimize the rendering during flowering. We count a distance which is twice the size of the bulb. To understand, you put the bulbs against each other and remove one out of two.
Here is a list of plants and the maximum planting depth. We take as a reference the bottom of the bulb (not the top)

Mixing with other herbaceous plants can give good results. Prefer biennials such as sweet carnations or primroses, and ground cover perennials. And why not also choose some dwarf shrubs?
Nevertheless, flowering will be successful, if you take care to water your bulbs , excluding periods of frost of course. But a dry winter does not favor the duration of a spring bloom.
