A double innovation:firstly the autonomous indoor vegetable garden with LED lighting available in its standard version and in a smart version to adjust the lighting to the ambient light and thus optimize the efficiency of the vegetable garden. Then, the Veritable Ingots (plants that are inserted into the Veritable vegetable garden), a patented technical solution that guarantees 6 months of harvest.
Two young thirtysomethings. They met during their studies in Lyon. The first, Nicolas Gehin, is an electronics engineer specializing in LED lighting, the second, Tony Campillo, has a doctorate in microbiology and plant health. Thanks to their respective expertise, they have developed Veritable Vegetable Garden. The Veritable vegetable garden and its Ingots will be available on the market from April 2016 and to accelerate the industrialization of the product, we have launched a fundraising campaign on kickstarter. The objective:to finance the project to the tune of €50,000. At the time of writing these lines, it's off to a good start.
City dwellers want to eat better and lifestyles closer to nature, everyone longs for a little corner of greenery. A TNS survey in 2014 also reveals that 43% of French people participate in some form of self-production. By giving itself the mission of responding to latent but growing needs in the agri-food industry:the lack of traceability, the controversial use of pesticides, the search for fresh and tasty products, grown locally and harvested when ripe... Veritable is part of a pioneer of urban agriculture and invites everyone to become an apartment farmer.
