It's not weather to sit outside yet, but before we know it we'll be heading towards spring and summer again. And then we can continue with our roof that we put up last year! The roof itself actually needs a ceiling and the wall of the shed behind it still needs to be painted white. But then I can go 'loose' with the wall decoration outside on the wall under the roof to make it a cozy whole.

I've been saving for a few months now. Every time I come across something that I think will hang nicely outside under the roof, I already purchase that wall decoration. My idea behind it was that by the time the weather gets nice I will have collected enough to hang up. I think it's a good idea, but the execution leaves something to be desired.
I don't know exactly how I do it, but it seems that my tastes have changed somewhat in recent months. I was first on the white, black and wood shades for outside, now I also have something with pastel shades. And now it turns out that it can be quite difficult to make a beautiful whole from the wall decoration outside. Especially considering the color differences I have at the moment. But, with a paint brush I can of course go in many directions, so I'm not so afraid of that.
I decided to start from the wall circle with the pampas grass that I had printed at Seemly. I will adjust the rest accordingly from now on. I think black home accessories are not included here, because they combine less well. The wall circle at the top right (the one with white and 'orange brown'), I'm going to paint it. I think I'm going to turn the orange brown into a soft beige shade. Anyone have any suggestions for a specific color? And then I think the round rattan circle at the top left might also fit nicely. Furthermore, I'm going to paint a circle on the wall with a shade that also comes back in my dibond wall circle for outside. This way I can automatically bring the circles together a little more.
To keep the whole thing playful, I would like to combine different shapes. For example, I could add a nice rectangular wooden wall panel, or I could vary it by adding wooden decorations such as these banana leaves, mango leaf or palm leaf. Or a nice pot with pampas grass or bamboo sticks, also nice!
And maybe make something yourself, such as the shelves below or the macramé hanger. You usually see them hanging inside, but outside is also fine! In this way I automatically create a beach-like feeling under the roof and I would like to go there a bit.
Furthermore, our deer skull is still going outside (it is now hanging in the hall) and I want to add a nice mirror.
However, it can also be very cool to only combine round shapes. In case you only want to use round wall circles, it is wise to match the style of the round shapes or wall circles as shown below.
By the way, I came up with the wall circle for outside, while I'm not even sure whether this is possible. Normally, dibond wall circles can usually hang outside, or in a garden room or under a veranda. But I'll check again just to be sure.
If it doesn't work out now, I can undoubtedly think of a cool place for it inside 😉 . At Seemly they have many more cool wall circles as wall decoration. And how cool is it to see that you can create completely different atmospheres with this wall decoration.
