Tired of your snorkel mask fogging up?
It is true that it is not practical!
Especially to see the fish or go scuba diving...
Fortunately, there is a very simple trick to easily clean it and stop it fogging up.
The trick is to clean your mask with toothpaste . Watch:
1. Put toothpaste on a toothbrush.
2. Scrub the outside of the mask with the brush.
3. Do the same inside.
4. Let the toothpaste dry for a few minutes.
5. Rinse well with clear water to remove all the toothpaste.
6. Use a microfiber cloth to dry it.
There you go, you cleaned your snorkel mask with toothpaste :-)
No more fogging when you go diving and see the fish!
It's still nicer that way, isn't it?
When you rinse off the mask, make sure you have clean fingers without sunscreen on them. Otherwise you risk dirtying the glasses.
This trick has 2 advantages. It prevents your goggles from fogging up, but also increases its lifespan.
Know that you must clean your mask before the 1st use, just after buying it.
Why ? Because most masks have a thin layer of oil to protect them during transport.
For even more effectiveness, choose a toothpaste for children. Indeed, children's toothpastes do not contain fluoride which is abrasive.
