Last week I had already cleaned the hood.
And I had scrubbed for hours.
There, I admit that I had no desire to spend any more time scrubbing this burnt pan.
So I looked for a solution to clean it effortlessly ...
And without having to buy special products that cost an arm and a leg.
Well, guess what, the thing I found is probably the best way to clean up scorched dishes.
I had heard of this grandmother's recipe to clean cookie sheets with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.
And I thought to myself:why not try it on casseroles?
Well, that's what I did and I can tell you that it works like hell!
Plus, it couldn't be any easier as a trick.
1. I poured a good amount of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda into the pan.
2. I stirred to mix these two ingredients well.
3. Then I did nothing more and let these two ingredients do the work for me.
4. After 2 hours, the hydrogen peroxide and baking soda began to loosen the burnt residue.
5. I let it sit for 6 hours and the burnt residue dissolved in the pan!
6. I used a dish brush to clean up the rest.
7. Some of the well-encrusted burn marks required a little rubbing with a sponge. But it was super easy to remove.
Lo and behold, my burnt pan is now brand new :-)
Easy, fast and effortless, right?
Incredible ! All you had to do was add hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to remove all encrusted burn marks.
In any case, now you know what to do to remove burnt pans.
