No more dirt and grease encrusted in your extractor hood!

You now know how to clean a very greasy extractor hood without leaving a trace.

Baking soda to remove encrusted grease is perfect.

You should know that it is a very powerful degreaser.

And it works on all hoods (Dietrich, Electrolux, Whirlpool...), including those in stainless steel and copper

Remember to repeat this cleaning operation regularly for optimal efficiency.

To remove the filters from the hood, take a look at the instructions for your extractor hood.

Mine is an Ikea like this and it's very easy to remove. All I had to do was push the button for it to unhook.

Bonus Tips

If you have a bathtub at home, it's even easier to soak the filters directly in it rather than in a basin.

Why ? Because the filters will be able to fit completely inside and you will not have to turn them over for cleaning.

But you must ask yourself how to clean your extractor hood completely, because there are always non-detachable elements.

Just use a sponge soaked in hot water and detergent to degrease them. It will work great for those parts as well.
