Are your cupboards full? And you don't know how to put them away, so many things?
Here are 6 simple tips to get out of the chaos.
You can gently declutter your closets right now.
I was lucky enough to come across a book that I loved:The Art of Getting to the Point by Leo Babauta.
I learned 6 simple tips. Watch:
Why keep something at home that hasn't been used for 2 years? It doesn't make sense.
The trick is to take every item that isn't used often and place it in the attic, garage, or basement.
Then, using a Post-it, we indicate on it the date of storage.
If the object has not moved for 2 years, then we sell or give away.
If you start to get comfortable, reduce the period to 1 year or even 6 months.
To sell all your stuff, try leboncoin.fr. To donate, try donons.org.
The concept is simple:you make space in your home by giving away the stuff you no longer use.
Do you want to attack the big cleaning of the cellar in the hope of finishing in a single day?
You will run to the catamaran. Start with the easiest first.
It gives courage before the big chore.
If it's not over today, that's okay.
The important thing is to have started.
For those new to decluttering, no more than 30 min per week is needed.
Otherwise, you will quickly become discouraged.
The important thing is to start somewhere, with some objects.
And if we make it a habit, this little 1/2 hour a week, then it's won!
Have you fallen for a new handbag, a new skirt, a new shirt or a new pair of shoes?
Now you need to get rid of an old handbag, an old skirt, an old shirt or an old pair of shoes.
Simple, but terribly effective. The goal is to avoid accumulating before it's too late.
This implies zero collection to preserve your living space.
The key word:always be and stay on the alert.
Do not forget. Nothing goes in until another object comes out.
A large part of the objects that we store at home are used less than once a year.
You do not believe me ? Take a tour of your home and ask yourself the question for each object.
You see, I was right.
Today, storing an object is expensive. Especially when you live in an apartment.
It takes up space for nothing. It collects dust that needs to be cleaned.
So the next time you think to yourself, "you never know, it might come in handy", twirl your tongue around your mouth 7 times.
And sell the item or give it away :-)
Winter stuff is especially bulky.
Duvets, blankets, throws, pillows, winter clothes, etc... take up a lot of space in our little closets.
So from spring, fill your cupboards with all these bulky things until next winter.
