The best cleaner and disinfectant for a bird or rodent cage is bleach.
But it can be toxic to your small birds or rodents.
It may also damage the cage, as it is very corrosive.
We prefer white vinegar, which is a natural cleaning product.
It is therefore not toxic for your small animal and will not damage the cage.
1. Pour white vinegar on a sponge.
2. Rub the bars of the cage with the impregnated sponge.
3. As soon as the sponge is dirty, clean it with water and put white vinegar on it again?
4. Do the same with the bottom of the cage.
There you go, you have cleaned your pet's cage naturally without toxic products :-)
