Sometimes we make a cigarette stain, without burning the affected tissue or surface. In this case, we are obviously looking for the solution to remove the ugly stain.
My first instinct in this case is always to grab my packet of baking soda.
I soak a rag of bicarbonate. I rub the stain vigorously. The stain fades or even disappears. Of course, this method will not work miracles on wood, linoleum or burnt fabric. .
After performing this step, you can clean the damaged surface as you usually do.
The Marseille soap also can remove your cigarette stain. You rub it dry and let it soak for the day. In the evening you rinse well. When the stained area is dry, the stain is normally gone.
The bicarbonate can also be used in the washing machine to whiten clothes.
Do you have any other tips for removing those nasty brown stains caused by cigarettes? Let me know in the comments, if you like.
