Too much jewelry piling up and no place to store it? Here's how to create a jewelry display, made in 10 min.
To store all my jewelry, I would need another desk. Trinkets bought here and there that end up taking up too much space.
No way to get rid of it. I found a miracle and rather decorative solution to solve my problem of coquetry.
I saw this the other day, in a shop in Paris. Jewels hung on hooks, like a pretty painting.
I told myself that it was rather decorative, and that it would also solve my storage problem.
Here is what I need to make my display:
- a painting canvas , the size of my choice (it all depends on the size of the problem!)
- small hooks (like those used to hang pictures on the walls)
- glue multi-purpose type
- paint to color my canvas
- a brush
Now we move on to practical work!
1. We start by painting the canvas. I chose beige, I wanted it to be neutral enough to show off my jewelry.
2. I'm waiting for my canvas to be completely dry. Here is already a good part of done, my canvas will be my display for my jewelry.
To hold my beautiful jewelry on the display, I use hooks.
3. I glue them directly on the canvas, wherever I want on the canvas.
4. Once my hooks are dry and well fixed on the canvas, I can hang my jewelry on them.
Now, I will be able to continue my collection of pretty pairs of earrings and other necklaces, without fear of not knowing where to store them. My coquetry has no limits!
