Dishwashing liquid is a product that is used daily to wash all sorts of things. To avoid having to buy it all the time and thus save €25 a year, learn how to do it yourself!
The washing-up liquid is an essential element to keep a clean kitchen after each meal.
As for its use, there are those who are very careful not to waste it unnecessarily and others who really use it a lot to clean all kinds of objects.
So, to avoid having to buy washing-up liquid every month, simply make it at home.
1. Start first by plunging 100 gr of ivy leaves in 1 liter of boiling water . Then let it simmer for about 5 minutes .
2. Once this time has passed, let it infuse for 12 hours before you can make your dishwashing liquid.
3. Next, you will need to filter your sheets of ivy, pressing them hard so that they release all the juice content inside the plant tissue.
4. Add somelemon juice for its degreasing action but also for the very pleasant smell it gives off and that's the job!
On the other hand, you will quickly notice that this homemade dishwashing product does not foam much, that does not mean that it is not effective, on the contrary it degreases very well!
But be careful, don't forget to rinse your dishes well after use because ivy can be toxic if ingested, better be careful;-)
Have you ever made dishwashing liquid yourself? How much savings have you made over a year? Feel free to leave us a comment!
A 750ml bottle of washing-up liquid costs just over €2. If you are used to buying one every month, you will spend on average €25 per year .
By using my trick, you will therefore save 25 € effectively because if you have a garden, you will find ivy very easily and even if this is not the case you can pick it up in the forest or on the facade of certain houses (shhhhhhhh) and thus manufactured your own washing-up liquid.
