There you go, you have cleaned your mower easily :-)

Simple, fast and efficient, right?

It is now nickel and you can put it away.

Regular cleaning of the mower after mowing is important.

Did you know that grass and plant matter will promote the appearance of rust when they rot?

Maintaining your mower properly is therefore the guarantee of keeping it in good working order for a long time.

All this for the price of a bottle of white vinegar!

Rather economical, isn't it?

And know that this trick works for both the mower blade and the housing.

This tip is effective for manual reel mowers, electric or air cushion mowers.

You can also use this method on towed petrol mowers (provided you use a mower jack) or non-towed petrol mowers.

And this, whatever the brand:Husqvarna, Honda, Alpina, Stihl, Toro, Remington

Tips

Clean your mower immediately after mowing.

Yes, even if you are very tired after mowing!

It will be much easier to clean it as long as the cut grass is not yet dry and encrusted everywhere.

Warning ! In general, it is not recommended to clean certain parts of your mower with a water jet.

The Kärcher is therefore not necessarily a good solution.

This is especially true if you have an electric lawn mower.

To find out, check if a logo representing a small tap is on the part to be cleaned. If so, it can be washed off with water.

If you see a logo with a crossed out tap, then do not use water.

For example, keep in mind that the engine and fuel system cannot withstand water.

Why does it work?

White vinegar is a multi-purpose natural product.

Thanks to its acidity, it overcomes encrusted stains and easily removes dirt.

White vinegar is therefore the best cleaner for your mower.

It works perfectly with blades of grass, dirt and insects stuck on different parts of the mower.

Which way to lean the mower?

To clean the underside of the mower, it must be tilted.

You have two options.

Either you tilt it at the back to hold it on the handlebars.

Either you tilt it to the side.

Do you have a petrol mower? So watch out!

Remember that the air filter must remain in the high position.

If you keep it in the down position, the engine may drown.

So remember that you have to tilt the mower on the side where the exhaust is located.

Safety instructions

Before starting to clean your mower, it is imperative that you follow these safety instructions.

All cleaning and maintenance of your machine should be done with the engine off.

Unplug it or remove the battery, if your mower is electric.

If you have a thermal mower, remember to let the engine cool down and don't forget to disconnect the spark plug wire.

As you know, the blades of a mower are particularly sharp.

So put on long cuffed gloves to protect your hands before you start cleaning.

Do not turn the blade by hand. It could hurt you.
