Before you even start cleaning, tidy up.
But only store kitchen items that are out of place.
What about items that have NO place in the kitchen?
Above all, don't complicate your life!
Collect them and put them all aside in a large basket, to store them later.
Or, ask one of your children to help you put things in the basket.
But don't waste your time going around the house to put away things that don't belong in the kitchen!
Remember. Your job is to clean the kitchen, not the whole house.
Take all the dirty dishes lying around, and put them in the dishwasher.

Next, fill the sink with hot, soapy water .
In it, soak the microwave turntable, the dish drainer, but also large bowls and large saucepans.
Why ? Because by soaking dirty dishes in water, they will be much easier to clean.
Yes, water helps loosen encrusted dirt before you even start scrubbing.
For this step, use an all-purpose cleaner.
I recommend this homemade cleanser recipe that is very easy to prepare.
Spray the cleaner generously on the worktop and hob.
But don't wipe it off just yet!
Instead, let the cleanser do its magic.
And meanwhile, you can clean up the rest of the kitchen.
Take out everything you have in the fridge.
Why ? Because it allows you to sort through food and throw away all those that are expired .
Next, take all the dirty Tupperware®, bowls, and plates and soak them in hot, soapy water from the sink.
Finally, working from top to bottom, wipe the refrigerator shelves with a cloth lightly moistened with all-purpose cleaner.
To go faster, drop all the dirt directly on the ground .
Thus, you will be able to sweep everything at once when you take care of the floor.
For this step, use a feather duster with a telescopic handle, like this one, and go all the way around the room.
Dust corners, lamps and tops of cupboards.
And don't forget to do the fridge top too.
Once you've gone around the room, move on to the next step.
First, take a clean sponge soaked in water and heat it in the microwave for 2 min.
In the meantime, soak a cloth in warm soapy water.
Use this cloth to wipe all doors and handles on wall units , going around the room.
Take the opportunity to also clean all the other objects hanging on the wall:the clock, the decorations, etc.
Then check that the sponge in the microwave has cooled down enough.
Then use this sponge to easily clean the inside and outside of the microwave.
Do you remember the cleaner you sprayed on the countertop and hob?
It's had plenty of time to work its magic, so now you can wipe those surfaces with a clean cloth .
Again, feel free to knock dust, crumbs, and other dirt directly onto the floor.
It will save you time, because you will be sweeping them in a few minutes.
To overcome stubborn stains, sprinkle them with a little baking soda.

Finally, clean your kitchen floor with a mop.
Start with the area furthest from the kitchen door.
Above all, be sure to use a bucket! Otherwise, you risk dirtying your clean sink again.
Once the cleaning is done, you can empty the bucket outside or in the toilet.
There you go, your whole kitchen is now completely clean and tidy :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, right?
You can congratulate yourself on a job well done.
By following the steps in this guide, you know exactly where to start your cleaning…
But also when to stop!
In addition, all the cleaning is done with only 100% natural ingredients.
- Cleaning the kitchen is done as a family. Divide the steps among your family members, including children, to clean your kitchen even faster.
- Teach your children to clear and rinse their plates after each meal. It's a small, simple gesture that doesn't take much time. But it will save the person doing the dishes a lot of time! In addition, it avoids clogging the pipes.
- Run hot soapy water in the sink BEFORE preparing meals. Soak all the dishes you use to prepare the meal (bowls, cutting boards, knives...). That way food doesn't even have time to cling, and you can quickly do the dishes as you cook.
- Believe my experience… Cooking becomes much less stressful when you don't end up with a pile of dirty dishes at the end of each meal!
