1. For a mold-free shower curtain

Ah the inevitable traces of mold on the shower curtains... a great classic!

How do you know how to clean them effectively?

Come on, we're nice, we'll give you grandmother's tips for an impeccable finish.

If you are going to wash the shower curtains in the washing machine, do so.

To effectively remove traces of encrusted mould, place your curtains in the washing machine...

...accompanied by a few terry towels.

This keeps your curtain wrinkle-free when it comes out of the wash.

Then put 250 ml of white vinegar to the first rinse water and stop the washing cycle of the machine just before spinning.

Finally, remove your curtain from the drum of the machine and hang it up. The rendering is perfect!

But there is another equally effective possibility.

Add 1 tablespoon baking soda to the wash cycle and, once the rinsing step has arrived, put 150 ml of white vinegar.

Remove the curtain from the machine and dry it normally.

What to do if your shower curtain does not machine wash? Don't panic, Grandma has the answer to everything.

Simply spray white vinegar on the traces of mold and let the vinegar act for a few moments.

Then clean with a sponge and you're done.

2. To descale the showerhead

Nothing is more unpleasant than having a poorly functioning shower head due to limescale.

In addition, if like me you live in a very calcareous region, you are not out of trouble!

Fortunately, there is a super ingenious technique to solve all this.

First, disassemble your shower head and immerse it for 10 minutes in a solution made up of 1 liter of hot water and 100 ml of white vinegar.

Then run a sponge over the entire pommel to remove most of the tartar.

Finally, clean the holes with an old toothbrush.

And if your shower head isn't removable, don't worry! We also have the solution.

Take a plastic bag, making sure it isn't punctured in places, and fill it halfway with white vinegar.

Secure the bag using a rubber band or tape around the apple, checking that the entire pommel is submerged.

After letting the vinegar sit for 1 hour, you can take the shower head out of the bag to wipe it clean.

All you have to do is scrub the holes with a used toothbrush.

3. For a streak-free shower door

If there's one household chore everyone hates doing, it's cleaning a shower door!

It's restrictive, long and tedious.

Except that until now, you probably didn't use white vinegar to help you with this delicate task.

Thanks to this magical product and Grandma's trick below, the hassle is over.

First spray white vinegar on the traces of tartar and soap and let stand for 15 minutes .

If you don't have a spray bottle, soak your sponge in white vinegar and wipe down the streaks.

Then sprinkle your sponge with baking soda and pass it over all the areas to be treated.

Finally, rinse with white vinegar and then with clean water.

You just have to dry the door by passing a dry cloth over it so as not to leave traces.

4. To whiten blackened tile joints

Tile joints in a bathroom inevitably become clogged over time.

They turn black or yellow which makes the whole thing very unsightly (and full of bacteria).

To restore their original state, proceed as follows.

Take a used toothbrush, dip it in undistilled white vinegar and scrub your joints.

This work is a little tedious, but considering the result, it is frankly worth it! Your joints have become all white again.

5. For a washbasin and a bathtub always nickel

The sink is arguably the most used part of a bathroom. It gets dirty and scales up very quickly.

So to avoid saying "what the hell is he ugly" every time you look at him, apply these grandmother's tips.

To clean completely.

Run hot water in the sink, plug closed.

Pour a well-filled glass of white vinegar into the water with a few drops of liquid soap or dishwashing liquid.

Then sprinkle baking soda all over the sink and dip a sponge in the hot, mixed water.

Rub with the sponge all the areas of the sink without forgetting to brick the faucet so that it shines with a thousand lights.

Also help yourself with an old toothbrush to dislodge the most inaccessible and encrusted dirt.

Then drain the water from the sink and do the "hand" test.

It involves running your hand all over the sink to make sure there are no rough edges.

Otherwise, there is still limescale to be removed.

If this is the case, sprinkle a little baking soda on the area again and wipe it with a sponge soaked in white vinegar.

Once everything is clean, wash the sponge under running water then run it over the entire sink to rinse it.

Finally, pass a dry cloth to leave no traces when drying.

Your sink is now sparkling!

For the bathtub, it's the same method except that it is necessary to wet the walls before sprinkling the baking soda.

To clean quickly.

If you're in a bit of a hurry or too lazy to do the full cleanup seen above, there's a quicker method.

To clean, sanitize and make your sinks, faucets and bathtubs sparkle faster, dip a sponge in white vinegar...

...And pass on all the areas to be treated.

Traces of soap, tartar and mold do not resist. Help yourself with an old toothbrush for the less accessible areas.

A little wipe with the sponge to rinse then a wipe with a cloth to dry and everything is perfect.

6. To whiten the bottom of the toilet bowl

The toilet bowl is regularly attacked by scale.

This leaves traces at the bottom of the bowl and it looks like a very dirty toilet.

To avoid this problem, there is a simple and effective grandmother's recipe.

Once a week, put 500 ml of white vinegar in your toilet bowl.

Take the broom and scrub all the areas with it, then let it sit overnight.

Be careful, do not flush the toilet until the next morning.

Another alternative, sprinkle the walls of your toilet with baking soda .

Then put white vinegar (either directly or by spraying) and let the chemical reaction take place.

You just have to brush with the broom, but be careful, prohibit access to the toilet for at least 2 hours and flush the toilet afterwards.

If the tartar is really encrusted, heat the vinegar before applying the method.

The projections made on a mirror are legion:water, toothpaste, lacquer, etc.

The problem is that it leaves a very unpleasant messy effect when you look in the mirror.

So to take good care of your mirror and above all better contemplate your legendary beauty, follow this simple trick from grandmother.
