There you go, your windshield is now nickel chrome without traces :-)

Easy, fast and efficient, right?

Your car window has regained all its cleanliness and transparency!

You don't even have to buy glass cleaner or use ammonia or alcohol.

Not only do you have clean glass, but you can see the road much better.

So better visibility and less risk of accident!

Don't forget to do this small wash once a month with the exterior also by following this tip, especially if you are a smoker.

This trick works equally well for cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters and RVs.

Bonus tip

Since the windshield of cars is tilted, it is not necessarily easy to clean in the recesses.

For this, you have several solutions available to you.

You can use a simple clothes hanger and wrap a microfiber cloth around it for easier access.

You can also get a special squeegee like this one.

Or you turn around and stand with your back to the windshield (knees on the seat) to make a shot more easily as below:

Why is your windshield getting dirty?

There are several reasons why your windshield gets dirty.

Children's fingerprints, dog's nose stuck to the glass, smog (air pollution), road dust, sea salt...

As many attacks as your windshield undergoes on a daily basis.

But there is also another little-known cause that causes your windshield to get dirty.

Do you know that the various plastic or vinyl interior components of the car eventually break down and evaporate?

You necessarily know the scent associated with this phenomenon; it's "new car smell".

And due in particular to the oblique inclination of the windshield, the glass captures almost all the oily residues resulting from these fumes.

Using greasy cleaners on the dashboard also aggravates the problem.

The fatty substances dissipate and create a film which further coats the windows, especially in hot and humid weather.

Now that the windshield is clean, keep it clean for as long as possible!

To do this, remember to ventilate the interior of your car regularly (every day if possible) by opening all the doors or windows.

By doing so, you let the fresh air in and the dirt out.

This is the best way for the fumes left by the plastic of the dashboard to escape.

Then park the car in shady/sheltered places like the garage if you have one.
