And according to the magazine 60 Millions de consommateurs, the culprit... is household products.

To reach this conclusion, 60 Million Consumers sifted through the labels and regulatory safety data sheets of 60 top-selling household products.
“In all these products, we found preservatives, allergens in perfumes and other substances which have a problematic action for the environment and health”, specifies Emmanuel Chevalier, engineer at the National Institute of Consumption. .
Thus, in the magazine's line of sight:volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These are tiny dust released by these toxic household products.
Some of these VOCs are classified as carcinogens such as acetaldehyde or formaldehyde.
Not very reassuring for consumers, especially since it is very difficult to decipher these famous labels... if you are not an experienced chemist!
"You have to have a good level of education to decipher the labels, because it's not clear at all", admits a consumer.
To remedy this problem, 60 Millions de consommateurs proposes the creation of a "Menag'score", somewhat on the Nutri-Score model.
The Menag'score would make it possible to classify products according to their composition and the presence of harmful chemical substances.
"Clear, precise, immediate labeling for the consumer based on the nutriscore with grades ranging from A to E", explains Christelle Pangrazzi, deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine.
At comment-economiser.fr, we have been convinced for a long time:white vinegar is the only household product you really need.
This is also the conclusion reached by Ademe which underlines the effectiveness of white vinegar.
Without forgetting that Ademe also recognizes that it is without any danger. It has no impact on the environment and your health.
But be careful, do not abuse essential oils. A few drops are enough to make your products.
"The more there are, the more VOC emissions increase. Two to three drops are enough!", explains Isabelle Augeven-Bour, air quality engineer at Ademe.
Thus, using too many essential oils can also have a negative impact on the air quality of your home.
While waiting for the Menag'score to see the light of day, comment-economiser.fr has selected for you all the uses that you can make of white vinegar in the house.
You will see, this natural product is simply magical and much more economical than these chemical household products.
It replaces all toxic household products and is just as effective.
