When installing a shelf, you must make 2 holes in the right place on the wall.
Otherwise, it's a disaster.
No need to take out a meter!
Instead, use tape to measure the distance between the 2 holes.

1. Measure the distance between the 2 holes with the tape.
2. Stick the piece of tape on the wall to know where to make the holes.
There you go, now you know exactly where to make the holes :-)
It's much more precise and it avoids making holes in the wrong place.
