The benefits of coffee grounds for plants are many.
So the next time you want to throw away your coffee grounds, consider using them as fertilizer instead.
Coffee grounds fertilize the soil of your plants very well. Why ? Thanks to the nitrogen, potassium and phosphates that coffee grounds naturally contain.
1. Claw the earth to turn it over.
2. Then pour the coffee grounds and mix it with the soil.
3. Tamp lightly and water.
There you go, your plants now benefit from a very good free and natural fertilizer :-)
The benefit of using coffee grounds is that it helps your plant bloom and repels insects that are harmful to it.
It is a very good repellent against flies which hate its smell, and it also repels worms which attack the roots of plants.
It works just as well for flowers as for shrubs or olive trees.
If you have compost at the bottom of the garden, you can add it too. Coffee grounds accelerate its decomposition.
