Measure the area where the lights will be installed and mark the border. Using a speed square, continue the line under the shelf. Mark a line across the shelf at the bottom so all the lights line up.
Drill holes for electrical wires with a hole saw.
Attach the first light to the bottom of the shelf and continue installing the rest of the lights.
Thread the cable through the hole made earlier and connect the small transformer to the bottom of the shelf. Connect the individual lights to the cable.
Organize wires under shelf using wire staples.
Install the switch and plug.
Grab the exposed nail holes and then paint over them.
Add aluminum trim to the edges of the shelves for a finished look.
Attach the door handle to the cabinet door and snap the shelf and cabinet rod into place. Install chrome cover plates on all electrical outlets.
