We are going to put a covering on the ground and it will be for many years. If the tile comes to our mind immediately when it comes to laying a floor covering in a bathroom, it is not always the choice that we adopt.

However, other solutions are on the horizon and among them, we can think of laminate flooring. Laminate flooring in a bathroom? Isn't it dangerous to lay wooden flooring in a room where there is a lot of water and humidity?

The advantage of having such a floor in a bathroom is obvious since, thanks to the wood look of the laminate, you will bring a certain comfort to your bathroom. Gone is the coldness of a tiled floor, hello the warmth of a laminate wood floor!
The other advantage of having a laminate floor in a bathroom is the fact of having the possibility of choosing among various species of wood.

Choosing laminate is also interesting when you don't want to take the risk of seeing tiles on the floor break (by dropping an object for example), which is always the anxiety of owners not to find the replacement tile 10 years later, when the collection is no longer made.
In any case, you will opt for a laminate floor covering that is water resistant, otherwise your laminate would not be suitable for the nature of the room, in this case the bathroom.
Another flooring solution in a bathroom is PVC flooring. However, it can be dangerous because it is slippery if it is not adapted to the body of water. Also, if you go for this solution, seek advice from a retailer before buying a particular PVC floor covering.
The PVC coating will have the advantage of being easier to clean than the laminate coating and of withstanding even more prolonged exposure to humidity than the laminate, even if the latter is water resistant.
