Does your floor have a depression that you would like to remove?
It sounds unbelievable, but there is a trick to fix a sunken floor.
And of course it works just as well on parquet as it does on wooden furniture.
The wood will get up on its own, it's crazy and it's very simple!
The magic trick is to use your iron and a damp cloth or paper towel:
1. Wet a clean cloth (or paper towel) with water.
2. Place the cloth over the depression in the parquet.
3. Put your iron on the maximum power and apply it to the wet cloth.
4. Make circular movements on the cloth with your iron for 3 to 5 min.
5. Make sure there is plenty of steam when ironing. Remember to wet your cloth again as soon as it starts to dry.
There you go, you have repaired the sinking of your parquet :-)

Look at the result:
If there are marks left on the parquet due to encrusted dirt, pass a stroke of sandpaper to sand it.
Finish with a little linseed oil to protect it.

You may have already noticed that under the combined effect of heat and humidity, the wood begins to swell.
The heat of the iron and the humidity of the wet cloth cause the wood to swell and return to its original shape.
It is this action that makes it possible to repair a knock in a solid parquet floor. Obviously, it shouldn't be too deep.
But it works for most of the time in case of impacts and scratches.
- Be aware that complete success largely depends on the finish of the wood.
This trick is much more likely to work on unfinished solid old wood floors. Same for furniture.
It will be less effective for repairing vitrified parquet, laminate, floating parquet or for removing a dent in linoleum.
This trick also does not work for repairing swollen melamine furniture or furniture that has warped due to water
- To avoid ending up with ugly white marks, first test this method on a place that is not visible.
