There are places where natural grass does not grow, under pine trees or on a balcony. There are also regions where grass is almost a heresy, in regions where there is a lack of water, in very sandy soils... And some weekends become moments of chores for some. Grass is very pretty, but grass is alive and needs to be taken care of.
One of the solutions lies in the use of synthetic turf. The other solution is to do without green. Let's quickly forget the second proposition.
The manufacture of synthetic turf has evolved and the finished product looks like a manicured lawn. Indeed, the "rappe" side has disappeared as the threads used are thin. In addition, the "dark apple green" color has given way to more realism. And even more fancy, synthetic turf comes in white, gray, black, brown, green, orange, red, pink, blue, purple... And the more you water, the more the soil leaches and the fertilizer supply is continuous throughout the year, with the risk that a possible overdose can constitute:burning of the plant and pollution.

On hard floors, concrete, paving (I see terrible ones that need to be hidden) it's a bit like a carpet. A sweep of the broom, we unroll, we glue with double-sided.

In terms of labour, it is much easier and faster to lay artificial grass than tiles. Now the price of synthetic turf depends on the desired rendering. There are many different models. Yarn length, texture, fineness, resistance to trampling, softness, color… so many parameters that influence the price, from simple to triple, between 10 and 30 € per m². In any case, less expensive than a good outdoor paving.
If you do not want a natural lawn, or it is impossible to set up, synthetic grass is the solution without the disadvantages. Easy to install yourself, no lawnmower to buy, no watering system to install, easy cleaning, no small bugs (I know some who are afraid of chiggers and ticks...) and a strong aesthetic appearance that highlights highlighting the other elements of the outdoor space, swimming pool, plants, flowerbeds...
Synthetic turf is therefore the alternative when you cannot grow natural grass. It is also a contribution of color other than green if you like.
