From chairs, bowls, gift wrap, children's games to teas and spices, Søstrene Grene has it all. The Danish chain, which in French means "the Grene sisters", has bet on products with a nice look and always at low prices. One wonders where is the problem? There are not any ! A store that offers a variety of products, at this price, is new (or almost, if we exclude the Dutch brand Hema from the race) and we run there without hesitation! Each store presents itself as a kind of labyrinth, which, at every corner, reveals new products. Along the way, the Grene sisters share their cult phrases on small signs, just to advise customers, and say "farvel" ("goodbye" in Danish) at the exit.
If we had to describe the concept, it looks like it's a cross between Hema (in terms of price), Flying Tiger (for the atmosphere), Maisons du Monde (for the huge choice of decor) and Ikea (because we always leave with lots of unforeseen things). It's true, if we had to quibble, it's almost too pleasant, since we find ourselves spending an hour there (instead of the quarter of an hour planned between two races)... New products are offered very regularly , which makes you want to go back very often. In terms of price, you can find odds and ends for less than one euro (small decorative elements, spices, etc.) as well as interior items (cushions at €8-9, a chic mirror at €27.70 , etc). Verdict? We go there to find small gifts for our colleagues, family, friends (or for ourselves, hey!)...:stylish objects at an unbeatable price, it's here!
