Do you know how often to mop the floor?
That's an important question, don't you think?
Because sweeping or vacuuming does not guarantee perfect cleanliness.
This is why it must be checked regularly.
You will inevitably ask me:regularly, what does that mean exactly?
Note that we recommend mopping once a week in all rooms. Explanations:
The mop is suitable for all floor types:
Lino, tiles, waxed parquet, floating or laminate, marble, floor tiles, waxed concrete, vinyl covering, PVC slab...
You can pass it without problem on all these surfaces.
All you have to do is choose the right floor cleaning product.
It's very practical!
Please note, on the other hand, washing with a mop is not suitable for carpets and plant fiber coverings, such as coconut or seagrass.
- If you have a child or baby who crawls, you can easily pass it at least 2 times per week. Even more if you have time, especially in rooms where baby is used to moving.
- You must also pass it quickly as soon as there are stains on the floor. This may be the case after cooking, after receiving guests...
- Or if people have entered with dirty shoes or if animals have left traces with their dirty paws.
Mopping the floor is essential.
First, there may be smudges or stains embedded in the floor.
This is often the case in the kitchen for example.
But even if you can't see dirt with the naked eye, there is still a legion of bacteria and microbes walking around on the ground.
And we bring them home with our shoes, our socks and sometimes just our bare feet!
A good mop with a homemade floor cleaner can eliminate them.
Should we dust before vacuuming or mopping?
Dust, mop, vacuum...
How should we organize ourselves to do household chores to be efficient and without wasting time?
The answer is simple.
Dust first, then vacuum and finish with the mop.
That way, the house is perfect!
