Our closets are full of things that we don't use often and that are for single use.
This is for example the case of coffee filters. We tend to use them ONLY to pass the coffee.
However, we can use this little piece of paper for a host of incredible things.
So much so that I always have it at home, even though I hardly ever drink coffee.

To soothe puffy eyes and reduce dark circles, soak a coffee filter in an infusion of chamomile straight from the fridge. Or simply in fresh water. Then fold the filter and place it over your eyes as a soothing cold compress for a few minutes. No more puffy eyes from a sleepless night!
To butter a dish or a cake mold easily without getting it everywhere, use a simple coffee filter. Simply put the softened butter on the filter and rub it all inside the mold. Don't worry, it leaves no residue in the dish and there is no risk to your health.
To prevent your fragile dishes from getting scratched while storing them, insert a coffee filter between each plate before stacking them. The filters are resistant while remaining flexible and soft so as not to scratch the dishes. This also works for dishes.
Pour a few tablespoons of baking soda into a coffee filter and close it with a rubber band. Place the sachet in your shoes, gym bags, closets, refrigerator or any other place that needs deodorizing. You can also add a few drops of essential oils to the coffee filter to add an extra pleasant smell.

Simply place all the ingredients for the bouquet garni in the center of a coffee filter, then tie it with a piece of string. Then put it in the pot and let it simmer. At the end of cooking, all that remains is to simply recover the filter.
Wrap the celery stalks in a coffee filter, then put them in a freezer bag in the fridge. The coffee filter will absorb excess moisture and therefore keep the celery crisp longer.
Use a coffee filter to germinate seeds and start seedlings in the spring. Dampen the filter with water, then place some seeds inside. Fold the filter up and place it in a ziplock bag. Then put the bag in a warm place, and in a few days you will see the first germs come out.
Keep a stack of coffee filters in your car's glove box. Why ? Because they are really practical for removing dust from the dashboard, and even cleaning the windows without leaving traces. They can also be used as an emergency napkin if you sometimes eat in the car. And the next time you check the oil level, you can wipe the dipstick easily with a coffee filter.
