So what to do if your home is invaded by ants?
Here is an easy and super effective recipe to eliminate them naturally.
This bicarbonate-based trap works wonders to get rid of ants quickly:
- baking soda
- powdered sugar
- jar lids
1. In a jar lid, put a tablespoon of baking soda.
2. Add a tablespoon of powdered sugar to the lid.
3. Mix the baking soda and sugar well.
4. Place 2 or 3 lids filled with this mixture in strategic places in the house.
And now, after only a few days the number of ants will drop drastically :-)

Anyway, that's what happened to me, in my kitchen!
It is a super effective and 100% natural homemade ant trap.
You can use the lids of jars or the bottoms of plastic bottles to place the bait in the house.
You can also put this mixture directly on the surface infested by ants.
Either way, remember to keep your kitchen clean by using a white vinegar-based cleaner.
Do not leave food in the kitchen. Everything must be tidy so as not to attract ants. Including on the dining table!
According to my research, ants cannot tell the difference between baking soda and powdered sugar.
Why ? Because the grains of sugar and bicarbonate are the same size.
The sugar attracts the ants and the baking soda kills them. Once ingested, the bicarbonate reacts with the acidity in their digestive system and the ants "explode".
Baking soda is a very effective natural anti-ant.
