The kitchen trash can smells bad, or even worse, does it stink?
It is not a fatality! Yes, but then, what to do?
Here's a simple trick to deodorize it and keep it always smelling good.
The anti-odor trick is to use baking soda to say goodbye to bad smells:
1. Clean the inside and outside of the trash can with 50% vinegar water.
2. Let the open bin dry well to prevent moisture from stagnating inside.
3. Pass a dry cloth through it so that it is completely dry.
4. Before putting a bag back, sprinkle some baking soda inside the trash can. No need to put a lot because it's effective.
5. After putting the garbage bag back, also sprinkle the inside of the bag to prevent odors from forming.
There you go, you've deodorized your trash can! No more bad garbage smells for 2 good months :-)
Now you know how to clean a smelly trash can. Baking soda is an economical and natural good smell.
